| Bio: | + I graduated from Dalhousie University in October 2006 with a Master of Library and Information Studies degree. + I plan to be a youth services librarian "when I grow up." + Not that I actually plan to grow up. + I have done NaNoWriMo five times, producing: - A contemporary realistic YA novel that I actually like and am revising. I swear I will finish the second draft someday... - An execrable YA fantasy novel that is most useful as an example of why you shouldn't try writing a fantasy novel without first doing any world-building whatsoever. - An adult novel about zombies1 that needs to be at least twice as long as it currently is in order to properly tell the whole story. I have no plans to revise it, but maybe I will eventually, many years from now. - Another contemporary realistic YA novel full of teen angst, which has some salvageable parts. - For a change, a novel full of preteen angst, which has slightly more salvageable parts. + In case you couldn't tell, I also want to be a writer when I grow up. + I have been journalling online since 1998. Yup, I've been blogging in one place or another since before the word "blog" existed. Although not before the word "weblog" existed. On second thought, maybe I have been, if you count the site I made with updates on the status of my Tamagotchi in the summer of 1997. + My cartoony icon was made with Portrait Illustration Maker. 1Much of the zombie novel takes place in an academic library. | |||||
